Mayoor Cricket team's Tour to Australia
It is a historic moment for Mayoor School Ajmer as the school’s Cricket team is touring Australia at present and is playing matches against 7 schools in and around Melbourne, Launceston and Hobart. The school had to postpone this tour last year due to certain constraints but the dream finally materialized this year due to the help and co-operation of Mr. Berrie Irons, Deputy Headmaster & Cricket Incharge, The Hutchins School, Tasmania, Australia who formulated the complete itinerary and logistics along with the teacher incharges of other Australian Schools.
The team took off from Delhi on Friday, 18th November 2011 and played the first match against Geelong Grammar School, Australia on Wednesday, 23rd November 2011. Unfortunately the school lost the match. The team played its second match against Ivanhoe Grammar School on Thursday, 24th November 2011 and lost this match too.
