Partner Dialogue on 6 August 2026 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
The event brought together Education
Leaders, Policymakers, and Researchers to discuss Global Assessment Trends and
Competency-based Assessment in Schools. Keynote addresses were delivered by Dr.
Biswajit Saha (CBSE) and Dr. Joseph Emmanuel (CISCE), followed by a session on
PISA Data led by OECD representatives. A panel discussion, 'Towards Viksit
Bharat 2047 : Competency-Based Assessment as the Key Lever in School
Education,' featured speakers from Central Square Foundation, Centre for Civil
Society, CISCE, World Bank, and Shikha Academy.
The session highlighted current trends in
international assessment and the growing importance of competency-based
approaches in education.
