Small habits today can shape healthier
digital choices tomorrow. The School Counselling Department and the Primary
School conducted an interactive session on ‘Digital Wellbeing’ for the parents
of children from Nursery and LKG on Monday, 24 August 2026. The session focused
on understanding the influence of digital exposure on young minds, including
imitation learning, language development, overstimulation, age-appropriate
content, screen-time management, and digital monitoring.
Parents actively participated in a live
poll and shared their concerns and experiences related to their children’s
digital habits. The session also explored practical strategies such as
co-viewing, setting device boundaries, creating family routines and device-free
zones, and using calm, positive correction methods. An engaging Q&A session
brought the session to a close, during which parents openly shared their
concerns and reflected on alternative methods of engagement.
