The 72^nd Independence Day was celebrated by the Mayoor School fraternity. The Tricolour was unfurled by the Chief Guest Col. Yodhvir Singh Lehl followed by the National Anthem. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering, encouraging them to be grateful to their teachers for all that they are. The students presented a talk show and a हिंदी काव्य प्रस्तुति.

A cultural programme in the multipurpose hall was put up in which the school’s orchestra and choir presented Indian and Western Music performances, followed by an amalgam of contemporary and classical dance by the students. The performances of the students were appreciated by the Chief Guest who was presented with a memento as a token of gratitude by the Principal, Shri Adhiraj Singh.
