The 73^rd Independence Day was celebrated by the Mayoor School fraternity. The Tricolour was unfurled by the Chief Guest, Lt. Col. Sanjeev Dogra followed by the National Anthem. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering. The students presented a Hindi and an English talk show.

A  cultural programme in the Multipurpose Hall was put up in which the school’s orchestra and choir presented Indian and Western Music performances, followed by a classical dance. The Principal Shri Adhiraj Singh presented a memento as a token of gratitude, to the Chief Guest.
