May Pole Day-2016

The celebration of the May Pole Day added more colour to the ever colourful primary block. The beautifully dressed students from the pre-primary block and grade I-III took part in the celebrations. The objective of the celebration was making the tiny tots familiar with this folk festival of Europe celebrated in May to welcome the arrival of warmth in the form of summers. A tall wooden pole is erected and people dance around it in a celebratory mood.

A pole was erected in the Primary Block quadrangle and colourful ribbons were attached to it. The children danced around the pole with their teachers and classmates. Therefore, the objective of education outside the classroom was served in a celebratory manner.
