INTER-HOUSE DANCE (III-V) 2022

The Inter-House Dance Competition for Classes III to V was held on Monday, 28 November, 2022.

While the theme for Group Dances was Indian Folk, the Duet Dances showcased International Dance Forms.

Chittorgarh and Kumbhalgarh stood First in the Duet and the Group Dance categories respectively.

“In the summer of 2015, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work at Mayoor School. I helped teach English, French and Music to students as well as helping run a drama activity on Wednesday mornings. It was an absolute joy to teach such well-behaved and enthusiastic students, and I was very happy to be welcomed into such a caring community of staff and teachers. I have taught at a few schools before, but Mayoor School was unlike any other in that it was truly passionate about offering a varied and interesting education to all children. One of my fondest memories was helping judge one of the many extracurricular inter-house competitions, which demonstrated that the students could balance academic interests with their own talents. Another important aspect of my time at Mayoor, was the pride they showed for Indian culture. I was often invited for dinners with members of staff who overwhelmed us with hospitality and friendliness, offering us chances to try a range of delicious Indi”
